- Must have an active RN license in good standing with Texas Board of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

- Care for med-surg telemetry patients on the nursing surgical floor.

- Deliver care to 4-6 patients per shift for cardiac patients.
- Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation.
- Collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals such as social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy, and imaging.
- Unit also cares for med‑surg telemetry patients on the nursing surgical floor (not OR).
- Specializes in abdominal surgery, including bariatrics.
- Floor has 30 beds.
- RN to patient ratio 1:5.
- Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) within 2 years from date of hire.
- At least one (1) year of RN experience.
- Active Registered Nurse license in good standing with the Texas Board of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
