Job summary

University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician, Cardiac Telemetry, for full-time night shift (7pm–7:30am) in Maryland. The role provides direct patient care under nursing supervision, including vital signs, specimen collection, and activity of daily living assistance.

A $2,000 sign-on bonus with a 1-year commitment may apply, and basic life support is required. Candidates should have a high school diploma and Maryland CNA/GNA certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold Maryland CNA or GNA certification.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and monitor patient status.
• Record ADLs and assist with daily living activities.
• Perform blood draws and collect specimens.
• Provide wound and skin care as directed.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge processes.
• Respond to patient alarms and ensure safety.

Education
