Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing (Diploma preferred).
• Two years of experience in a hospital or medical environment is preferred.
• Current Tennessee or Compact State RN license is required.
• Current BLS and ACLS required; ACLS must be acquired within 30 days if not certified on hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and evaluate the nursing care of patients.
• Keep patient information confidential and follow safety practices.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and use the nursing process to provide age-appropriate care.
• Communicate clearly and educate patients and families; develop and update care plans.
