Job summary

Aurora Health Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide specialized cardiac telemetry care. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, safety, and patient-centered coordination across the care team.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, monitoring patients, and maintaining accurate documentation. The ideal candidate will have cardio telemetry experience and prefer an ICU background, with flexibility to float as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required by specialty.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice where services are provided.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans and collaborates with the care team.
• Promotes a culture of safety and ensures timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.
• Demonstrates strong communication, feedback and delegation within the team.
• Writes and maintains patient care records accurately.
