Job summary

Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Maintains current State of Alabama RN license or valid multistate license.
- Maintains current BLS certification; ACLS/NRP/PALS may be required for some areas.
Responsibilities
- Assesses patient needs and develops a care plan; evaluates progress toward outcomes.
- Collaborates with medical staff and interdisciplinary team to plan and manage care.
- Delivers patient care with a focus on safety and quality in an acute care setting.
- Coordinates care, delegates tasks, and documents in the medical record.
- Serves as a preceptor, charge nurse, or unit educator as needed.
