Texas Health Fort Worth is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) – Cardiac Tele to join our team. The role supports the cardiac telemetry unit, with full-time day hours (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) at 36 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.

Required are a high school diploma or equivalent, CLIAFE compliance, and completion of a THR-approved PCT training program or equivalent; EMT or nursing student background is considered. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent required.
• CLIAFE compliance for foreign education equivalency required.
• PCT Training Program or THR approved program required or upon hire.
• EMT training or military medical training equivalent required or upon hire.
• Nursing student with fundamentals completed or foreign nurse degree required or upon hire.
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to independent care and maintained quarterly.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and assistance per care plan and patient/family preferences.
• Collect and report patient data; support admission, transfer, discharge.
• Perform technical procedures safely and document care accurately.
• Collaborate with nurses to adapt care for diverse populations.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and meet patient/visitor needs.
• Demonstrate teamwork and effective communication across disciplines.
• Participate in process improvement and uphold safety goals.
