Job summary

Sanford Health in Fargo, ND is seeking a Cardiac Technologist to support the Heart and Vascular team. This role performs cardiovascular tests and procedures alongside physicians and nurses to deliver high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate has an associate’s degree in cardiovascular technology, RCIS within 12 months, and ACLS; PALS if applicable. The position offers a 4x10 shift schedule with a supportive team and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in cardiovascular technology or equivalent.
• RCIS certification within 12 months of hire is preferred/required.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire; PALS if applicable is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs invasive cardiac, peripheral vascular diagnostic, interventional and electrophysiology procedures using imaging and monitoring equipment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and hemodynamics.
• Understands pharmacologic options and their impact on exercise, hemodynamic and diagnostic tests.
• Uses Cardiac, Vascular and EP systems including XPER/CUPID, GE, Siemens and Philips XR.
• Works with diverse patient populations and communicates effectively.
