Qualifications
Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) within 12 months of hire is preferred.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required within 6 months.
Responsibilities
Perform invasive cardiac, peripheral vascular diagnostic, and electrophysiology procedures.
Utilize sophisticated imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
Assess and treat cardiac and peripheral vascular disease.
Skills
Expert knowledge in cardiovascular technology
Understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology
Knowledge of pharmacologic options
Flexibility and communication skills
Education
Associate’s degree in cardiovascular technology or equivalent experience
