Job summary

Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center is hiring a registered nurse for the Cardiac Surgical Unit. The role offers day shift coverage, 36 hours per week, with a rotating weekend schedule and holiday rotation.

You will deliver coordinated patient care, maintain patient safety, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a Magnet-designated hospital environment. Applicants should have an accredited nursing program, active RN license in the state, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• RN license issued by the practicing state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Strong interest and passion for cardiac care.
• Commitment to teamwork, communication and growth.
• 1+ year experience in day shift acute care nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience.
