Job summary

Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center, part of Advocate Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Advanced/Complex Cardiac unit. This full-time night shift rotation includes 36 hours per week with every third weekend and holiday requirements.

The unit handles advanced heart failure, chest pain, and post-surgical care, offering Magnet-designated excellence. We welcome new grads and experienced RNs committed to cardiac care, teamwork, and compassionate patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• RN license in the state where you practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association.
• New grads welcome.
• Strong interest and passion for cardiac care.
• Commitment to teamwork, communication, and continual professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience using evidence-based practice.
