Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Physician Assistant to support the cardiac surgery ICU and step-down units on a per diem basis.

You will work closely with cardiac surgeons and ICU staff to provide comprehensive patient care, including histories, exams, orders, prescriptions, and plan development. Applicants should have a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies, an MA PA license, and at least two years' experience in cardiac surgery or a related specialty.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies required.
• Licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in Massachusetts.
• Minimum 2 years of PA experience in cardiac surgery or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in cardiac surgery ICU and step-down units.
• Perform histories, exams, orders, prescriptions, and care plan development.
• Document thoroughly including progress notes and operative details.
