Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health System in Fayetteville, NC seeks a Registered Nurse in Cardiac Surgery to implement professional nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room. You'll work in a two OR + Hybrid environment.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, administering medications as ordered, and acting as charge nurse as assigned. You will collaborate with surgeons, perfusionists, and anesthesia to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Demonstrates positive interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
• Demonstrates organizational and leadership abilities in a fast-paced OR setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and identify care needs.
• Plan, organize, implement, and evaluate patient care.
