A healthcare organization in Augusta, Georgia is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for the Cardiac Surgery team. This PRN role requires 1-2 years of cardiac surgery experience and a relevant degree from an accredited program. Responsibilities include rounding on post-operative patients, providing office consultations, performing surgical tasks, and caring for patients with LVADs. Qualifications

• 1–2 years of cardiac surgery/EVH experience.
• State‑licensed nurse approved to practice as an NP in Georgia with National Certification.

Responsabilités

• Round on post‑op patients.
• Provide office consults one day per week with a designated surgeon.
• Perform EVH and chest closure in the operating room.
• Conduct thoracentesis and chest tube insertion and care.
• Provide care to LVAD patients.
