Qualifications

• Must hold a valid MD license and be able to be licensed in Illinois.
• Completion of a cardiothoracic residency and fellowship is required.
• Two or more years of experience as a cardiac surgeon.

Responsibilities

• Teach and develop curriculum for cardiothoracic surgery education.
• Recommend research areas and obtain funding for cardiothoracic surgery.
• Maintain a practice of high-quality cardiac surgery and consult for house staff.
