Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of work experience or 1 year of college plus 1 year of work experience
• Proficiency with word processing and computer skills required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate non-clinical duties of the nursing unit
• Enter patient charges in computer
• Coordinate patient flow of admissions and discharges
• Order supplies
• Provide customer service to patients, families, nurses, physicians and other departments
• Answer phones and relay messages as appropriate
• Identify need for service recovery and follow up of resolution
