Qualifications

• Education degree/diploma from an accredited Registered Nursing Program; BSN or MSN preferred.
• BLS within 90 days of hire; Critical Care/IMCU ACLS within 1 year of hire; NIH within 1 year of hire.
• Acute care nursing experience preferred; Telemetry or stroke care background encouraged.
• New Grad RNs welcome to apply and may be considered for transition programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Care for Acute Cardiac/Stroke Unit patients including telemetry, post‑procedure and heart failure cases.
• Support orientation, mentoring and unit-based preceptor programs for new staff.
