Job summary

Nebraska Medicine's Cardiac & Stroke Unit in Bellevue is hiring an RN for the First Shift. The Staff Nurse will work in a 36-bed unit focusing on cardiac care, telemetry, and stroke patients, pairing with a CNA in the Care Pair Model to provide high-quality patient care.

This role requires ADN or Nursing Diploma, Nebraska or compact RN license, BLS (and PALS as required), strong communication and teamwork, and proficiency with Epic EMR and MS Office.

Qualifications

• ADN or Nursing Diploma required.
• Current RN license in Nebraska or a compact state.
• BLS certification required.
• PALS certification required (department dependent).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to adapt.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate delivery of clinical resources to assure safe, high quality patient care.
• Ensure continuity of care in a non-acute, short-term setting.
• Collaborate with Cardiac & Stroke Unit teams to implement orders and optimize patient outcomes.
