Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua, NH is seeking a Stress Technologist for the Cardiac Cath Lab on a per diem basis. You will perform all aspects of cardiac stress testing, ensure patient safety, and document results while collaborating with physicians and staff.

The role requires a high school diploma or CVT/RCP training, CPR certification, and familiarity with EKG systems. Per diem shifts provide flexibility and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with basic dysrhythmia course or CVT/RCP program completed.
• Current CPR certification.
• No experience required; however, 1+ year in stress testing or ECG preferred.
• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
• Familiarity with Philips/Epiphany EKG Systems and Quinton Stress Machines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Physically able to lift 20–30 lbs and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of cardiac stress testing per hospital policy and physician orders.
• Maintain and clean equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
• Participate in departmental meetings, quality assurance, and improvement initiatives.
• Observe safety guidelines and infection control standards.
• Assist in training new staff and student interns.
• Maintain current clinical education and age-specific competencies.
• Recognize critical situations and initiate emergency procedures.
