Schedule:Monday - Friday
Responsibilities
- Preparation of patients for cardiac stress testing procedure.
- Assess patient's blood pressure, pulse, respirations, lung sounds and establish I.V. access using aseptic technique.
- Set up and monitor patient through 12 lead EKG stress testing including application of 12 lead wires and electrodes and rhythm identification, interpretation and management.
- Preparation of pharmacological stress agents, dose calculation and administration.
- Under the direct supervision of the site physician, initiate BCLS and ACLS algorithms to manage patient symptoms and events.
- Ensure patient safety and provide high quality testing.
- Accurately document patient test results and patient medical history using EMR. Additional administrative documentation may be required.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to providing consistent and excellent customer service at all times.
- Travel to client sites as scheduled. Driving company van and following Radiation Safety and DOT regulations for purpose of transporting equipment, medical supplies, radioactive material, and staff to customer site.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Active license/certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Paramedic or Medical Assistant (MA).
- Demonstrate current competency and skills related to emergency care or paramedicine with related degree, certification and/or licensure.
- Active ACLS and BLS certification
- For EMT or Paramedic candidates, minimum 1 year in emergency care setting with experience responding to emergent cardiac and pulmonary events along with experience in EKG lead placement and interpretation of rhythms and I.V. insertion.
- Ability to push/pull heavy medical equipment as a team.
- Valid Driver's License.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed at outpatient imaging centers, hospitals, clinics, and/or physician offices with moderate to high patient volume. Team members must travel in all weather conditions in company van.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
- Walking, stooping, turning, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Occupational Exposure:

Performance of clinical job duties has a reasonable anticipated risk factor of occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens or other infectious materials.
