Job summary

Diagnostic Imaging Solutions (DIS), a subsidiary of Catalyst MedTech, is seeking a Cardiac Stress Technician. This role involves preparing patients for cardiac stress tests, monitoring vital signs, and performing pharmacologic stress procedures.

You will travel to client sites in a company van and follow radiation safety requirements. Ideal candidates are licensed Paramedics or LPNs with at least 1 year of 12-Lead EKG experience, IV insertion skills, and the ability to work autonomously in a

• Ability to push/pull heavy medical equipment as a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for cardiac stress testing procedures.
• Assess patient vital signs.
• Establish I.V. access using aseptic technique.
• Set up and monitor patient through treadmill and pharmacologic stress testing.
• Prepare pharmacological stress agents, dose calculation and administration.
• Document patient test results and medical history in the PACS system.
• Initiate BLS and ACLS algorithms under physician supervision.
• Travel to client sites in a company van and uphold radiation safety/DOT regulations.

Additional administrative documentation may be required.Initiate BLS and ACLS algorithms to manage patient symptoms in the event of an emergency, under physician supervision.Demonstrate a strong commitment to providing consistent and excellent customer service and patient care at all times.Travel to client sites as scheduled.
