Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit-based systems is seeking a Registered Nurse for Cardiac Stepdown Intermediate Care at Providence Southfield Hospital. You will lead coordination of high-quality patient care on a 27-bed unit with 12-hour shifts and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and their families.
• Effectively communicate pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team.
• Participate in finding and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.
