Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent- The Medical Center seeks an RN for the 24-bed CV Stepdown and telemetry unit (4Main) in Macon, GA. The team cares for cardiothoracic/vascular surgical and pre-/post-operative patients. New hires may be new to critical care or enrolled in the Critical Care Academy (CCA). The unit also serves as med/surg overflow.

You will provide and coordinate patient care using the nursing process, uphold standards, and participate in creating a safe, high-quality patient experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association required/expected within 6 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Apply evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication skills while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
