Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center is seeking an experienced RN for the 5W Cardiac Stepdown unit. The role involves providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care, delivering safe and therapeutic treatment in line with standards and policies.

The unit supports patients with complex cardiac conditions, including post-procedure and myocardial infarction care. The position requires an accredited nursing program completion, current RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Current RN license issued by the practicing state.
• BLS and ACLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Cardiac/critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
