Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center's 5W Cardiac Stepdown unit is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate patient care using the nursing process, ensuring safety and high-quality outcomes for cardiac patients.

This full-time position offers a 7a-7p night schedule with weekend rotations on a 36-hour work week. Requirements include RN licensure, accredited nursing program completion, BLS/ACLS certification, and cardiac/critical care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• BLS & ACLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Cardiac/critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Use evidence-based practice and clinical judgment to create a safe patient environment and positive patient experience across the continuum.
