Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO, seeks an experienced RN to provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Stepdown unit. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care within nursing standards and collaborate with an interprofessional team.

The role offers three 12-hour shifts (7:00pm–7:30am) with shift differentials for nights, weekends and holidays. A clear RN career ladder supports progression and professional development.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree required.
• RN license in good standing.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Educates patients and families on illness management and post treatment care.
• Documents plans of care and communicates across the care team.
• Promotes patient safety and participates in professional development.
