Prime Healthcare is seeking a Charge RN for the Cardiac Step-Down Unit at Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, AL. This role involves supervising nursing staff and ensuring quality patient care in a critical environment.
The ideal candidate will hold a valid RN license and BLS certification with a min. of 1 year nursing experience. Shifts are available on nights, contributing to a supportive team.
We are seeking aCardiac Step-Down Charge RN, sometimes referred to as our Step-Down Unit RN or Step-Down Cardiac Nurse. A Cardiac Step-Down RN is a registered nurse who is responsible and accountable to the Department Director for the quality of nursing staff and the delivery of patient care. The Charge RN assists the Director in the daily operation of the respective unit(s)/department specialized in providing care for patients who are recovering from cardiac procedures, surgeries, or events like heart attacks. The Cardiac Step-Down RN offers an intermediate level of care between the ICU and the general medical-surgical floor.
