Job summary

Vanderbilt Health in Nashville, TN, seeks compassionate Care Partners (Nursing Assistants) to assist with patient care and maintain unit standards under licensed nurse supervision. Responsibilities include venipuncture, Foley care, specimen collection, and bedside tasks.

Full-time night shifts (three 12-hour shifts) with rotating schedules; orientation during first week; requires HS diploma or GED and/or nursing program enrollment or CNA training within the past year, or 1+ year recent

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED and meet one of the listed pathways to qualify.
• Hands-on care experience including bedside patient care is preferred.
• Ability to perform clinical tasks under supervision (venipuncture, Foley care, specimen collection).

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivery of patient care under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Maintain unit environmental standards and patient flow.
• Serve as liaison for patient and family education and communication.
• Support unit operations, supplies, and equipment as needed.
