Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, Inc., seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with department standards and state requirements. You will collaborate with medical providers and care teams to uphold compassionate care and optimal clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities include admitting patients, administering medications, monitoring responses, and documenting care.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• RN credential must be held at time of employment
• RN Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree required

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient’s condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and document care in the patient’s medical record
• Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests and anticipating patient needs
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient’s condition, treatment plan, medications, and follow-up, translating medical terminology when needed
