Job summary

McLaren Health Care's 3 South Cardiac Step Down unit in Port Huron is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver quality care using the nursing process and collaborate with the healthcare team.

The role involves assessing physical, psychosocial, and educational needs, planning and implementing care, and evaluating patient responses to interventions.

Schedule: Full-time, days 7:00am–7:30pm, 72 hours per pay period. Benefits include 403(b), health, dental, vision, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited Nursing program.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.
• Plans and implements nursing care according to patient and family needs.
• Makes appropriate interventions based upon individual patient needs.
• Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions.
• Assumes personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment, and professional development.
