Job summary

Christian Hospital in St. Louis, MO, part of BJC HealthCare, is seeking a Full-Time Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) for the Echocardiology department. The role involves tests at multiple sites, logging in EPIC, and maintaining cardiac lab records.

On-call compensation applies, with a $7,500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. Applicants should have an RDCS or equivalent and an Associate's Degree or trade-equivalency; new grads are welcome.

BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) for Christian Hospital (St. Louis, MO) - Graphics (Echocardiology) Dept

$7,500 Sign on Bonus Eligible

Position Details:

• Full-Time Day Shift: Monday-Friday 7am – 3:30pm
• Paid On-Call: You’ll be compensated for every 5th week & 1 holiday per year for being on-call, even if you’re not called in
• Graphics (Echocardiology)
• Performs tests and procedures at various locations throughout the hospital, maintains accurate patient logs in EPIC, updates daily charges in the computer, utilizes cardiac lab menus in the computer, maintains cardiac lab patient files
• Fantastic learning opportunities to gain experience and learn cutting edge echo guided procedures

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

The Cardiac Sonographer performs a variety of cardiac testing, including treadmill stress testing, holter monitoring, transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echo, stress echo and cardiac doppler.

Responsibilities

• Performs tests and procedures at various locations.
• Maintains accurate patient logs.
• Updates daily charges in the computer, utilizes cardiac lab menus in the computer.
• Maintains cardiac lab patient files.
