Job summary

INTEGRIS Health in Oklahoma City, OK seeks a PRN Cardiovascular Sonographer to join Diagnostic Cardiology at Baptist Medical Center. The role focuses on echocardiography and vascular ultrasound, preparing diagnostic images and preliminary reports for Cardiologist review.

The position may require weekend shifts, on-call rotation, and occasional travel to other Integris sites. The incumbent must have completed a COD or CAAAHEP-accredited program, hold ARDMS RDCS or equivalent and BLS/CPR

Qualifications

• Completion of a CAAAHEP accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program or equivalent.
• ARDMS-RDCS, ARRT-S, ARRT-CI or equivalent within 12 months of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures and obtain clinical history.
• Explain ultrasound procedures to patients and answer questions.
• Perform multiple ultrasound exams including echocardiograms and vascular studies.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
