Qualifications

• Completion of an approved school of diagnostic ultrasound or ARDMS accepted.
• Current BLS certification or certification obtainable within 18 months of hire date.
• Cardiac Sonographer – Ultrasound Registration as RDCS or RCS (or within 1 year RDCS/RCS) and RVT (or within 18 months).

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations to produce clear and precise images for physician evaluation.
• Monitor patient conditions during procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
• Analyze ultrasound images and document findings in patient records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to review results and assist with treatment decisions.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper function and safety.
• Support our culture of safety and adherence to protocols.
• Work hours per week per offer letter or transfer terms; may require longer hours as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
