Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Windham Hospital is seeking a skilled Echocardiography professional to perform cardiac ultrasound procedures for diagnosis and patient care from neonatal to geriatric care. The role requires accurate documentation and handling of patient records within the Cardiology department.

Responsibilities include applying imaging modalities efficiently and supporting the department with related duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Echocardiography program accredited by COAHEE.
• Two years of experience in a hospital setting.
• Board certified by ARDMS or CCI or provide proof of eligibility to obtain and maintain certification.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical procedures related to cardiac ultrasound for diagnosis.
• Provides patient services from neonatal to geriatric using imaging modalities.
• Accurately documents, files and maintains patient records.
• May perform other duties pertaining to the Department of Cardiology.

ARDMS/CCI certification eligibility

Education
