CHI Health Midlands is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to perform advanced imaging and diagnostic testing for cardiovascular conditions, including echocardiography and stress tests. You will work with a team to ensure high-quality ultrasound images and patient care, while adhering to safety and confidentiality standards.

The role involves a variety of vascular and cardiac imaging modalities, education, and continuous professional development in a patient-centered environment.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or equivalent clinical training.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echo within 12 months.
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI) within 12 months.
• Registered Vascular Technologist within 12 months.
• Registered Vascular Specialist within 12 months.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) within 30 days.

Responsabilidades

• Corroborates clinical history and assesses patient for appropriateness of the ordered procedure.
• Provides patient education and maintains confidentiality in a professional manner.
• Assumes responsibility for assigned area, reports equipment malfunctions and procedural difficulties.
• Completes quarterly mandatory education requirements.
