Must have at least ONE of the following: A current RCS through (CCI) or RDCS through (ARDMS)
Graduate of an accredited Technical or Associates degree program in Echocardiography or a related field + 2 years experience required- adult echocardiography preferred. Full-time day shift position, Monday-Friday, 7:00am-5:30pm with rotational weekends, Holidays and night call coverage for emergent Procedures.
On Call response time to the facility is within 1 hour of notification.
The department supports inpatients, outpatients, intraprocedural structural heart TEEs and TTEs.

Job Summary
The Cardiac Sonographer 2 performs basic to advanced cardiac ultrasound services. These include transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress tests for adults. These tests help diagnose and assess cardiac abnormalities. General duties include preparing equipment, prepping patients, and explaining procedures. They also review images, report findings, and evaluate patient history. This helps identify the purpose of the examination. They frame the clinical question the exam should answer and expand the exam as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS in 30 days of hire or transfer.
