Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking an experienced ultrasound professional to operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment and perform invasive procedures in a clinical setting.

The role requires completion of an AMA-approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, at least 1 year of related hospital-based experience, and credentialing in BCLS, with RCS/ARDCS or CCI options encouraged.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program is required.
• 1 year of related experience as a hospital inpatient or outpatient/ambulatory cardiac sonographer is required.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) required and
• RCS, ARDCS, or CCI credentials are required or in scope for the role.

Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists. Responsibilities:
