Proforma Health Inc. is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer I to perform transthoracic echocardiograms for outpatient research and clinical patients in a fast-paced academic medical setting. You will review patient histories, educate patients, and acquire the appropriate imaging views while ensuring safety and accuracy in documentation.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the care team to support patient evaluation and continuity of care in an onsite clinical environment.

performs transthoracic echocardiograms and related cardiac ultrasound studies for outpatient research and clinical patients in a fast-paced academic medical setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Review patient history and orders; prepare patients and provide education.
• Select, optimize, and acquire appropriate echocardiographic imaging views.
• Identify normal and abnormal cardiac structures and cardiac function findings.
• Document, report, and transmit study results accurately and in accordance with standards.
