This role involves performing 2-D, M-mode, color flow mapping, and cardiac Doppler echocardiography tests on adult and geriatric patients. The technician is responsible for maintaining performance improvement documentation in cardiac and ultrasound in accordance with IAC standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Credential in echocardiography:

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
• Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CRCS), Sonography Canada
• Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) from CCI

2. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Shift: Availability for evening shifts (flexible hours, with coverage as late as 10:00 pm - Midnight). Rotating weekend shifts (approximately 2 shifts per 4-week schedule), holidays, and on-call as needed.
