Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with resting and stress echocardiograms.
• Ability to explain procedures to patients and document findings.
• Familiarity with quality control and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiovascular ultrasound procedures following standardized protocols.
• Explain procedures to patients, obtain history, and document information.
• Confirm patient identity and exam reason; coordinate with cardiology team.
• Perform weekly quality control and daily equipment cleaning and maintenance.
• Transfer studies to EchoPACs and provide preliminary reports to the staff cardiologist.
• Participate in QA activities and training of new staff and students.
