Job summary

Overlake Medical Center & Clinics is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to perform diagnostic echocardiography and assist physicians with procedures. You will pre‑screen patient information, greet and explain the process, ensure patient comfort, and accurately document results and charges.

The role requires ARDMS/CCI certifications or eligibility, hospital experience preferred, and a day shift in a full-time schedule with 4x10s and alternating Saturdays call. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited imaging program or formal military or hospital-based training program; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Has obtained either the RDCS or RCS certification AND is a current student who meets graduation requirements within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Procedure: obtain patient/clinical information, verify orders, greet patient, explain procedures.
• During Procedure: ensure patient comfort and proper patient identification.
• Post-Procedure: inform patient of result timing, prepare echocardiograms for interpretation, ensure charges and MAR entries.
