Job summary

WMCP WMC Physician Practices is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to perform advanced non-invasive cardiac imaging in a clinical Cardiology lab. The role requires RDCS or RCS certification within 12 months of hire and BLS within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities include imaging, billing, scheduling, documentation in EPIC, and mentoring new staff in the Cardiac Sonographer ladder progression. The position is based in Crafton, PA with a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Imaging program.
• RDCS or RCS certification within 12 months of hire.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced non-invasive cardiac ultrasound imaging to aid diagnosis and treatment.
• Ensure accurate billing and prioritize patient scheduling for procedures.
• Coordinate and prioritize scheduling to complete procedures timely.
• Document procedures in patient chart and communicate results to physicians.
• Mentor and support Cardiac Sonographers; participate in education and training.
• Maintain equipment and work areas for cleanliness and order.
• Complete accurate EPIC documentation for billing and records.
