Job summary

1910 Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to perform comprehensive transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms, including stress and contrast studies, at our onsite location in New Hampshire. The role requires an Associate's degree in Sonography, and ARDMS/CCI credentials with BLS.

Prior cardiac imaging experience is preferred, and NH licensure is required upon hire. This is a full-time, onsite position with hospital benefits and opportunities for student

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Sonography preferred.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI, or RDCS through ARDMS required.
• New Hampshire license for Medical Imaging required upon hire (NH locations).

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cardiac ultrasound exams independently (TTE, TEE, Stress Echo, portable studies, and contrast/bubble studies).
• Assess and prepare patients for procedures, review histories and prior imaging, ensure appropriate exam protocols.
• Document and communicate findings with interpreting physicians in a timely manner.
• Maintain safety, quality, and compliance standards; prepare equipment and exam rooms; follow privacy and hospital policies.
• Support exceptional patient experiences through proper positioning and ergonomic scanning techniques.
• Contribute to department excellence by assisting with scheduling, workflow coordination, and quality standards.
• Aid in precepting students as appropriate.
