Job summary

Concord Hospital is seeking a Cardiac Echo Sonographer for a full-time days shift at our Concord, NH location. The role involves performing TTE, STE, and assisting with TEE exams, while ensuring accurate documentation and efficient patient workflow.

Required two years of Cardiac Ultrasonography training, BLS certification, and ARDMS/CCI registration within 2 years of hire. State licensure is mandatory; 6–12 months of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of formal training or education beyond high school in Cardiac Ultrasonography.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
• ARDMS or CCI registration within 2 years of hire and maintained thereafter.
• State licensure for Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy is required.
• Experience in Cardiac Ultrasonography is required; 6–12 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs transthoracic echocardiogram (TTE) exams.
• Performs stress echocardiogram (STE) exams.
• Assists physicians with transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) exams.
• Documents and maintains patient and test data.
• Manages time and workload fluctuations.
• Completes billing for tests performed.
• Utilizes and maintains departmental and hospital equipment.
