Tenet Healthcare Corporation's DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital in Detroit seeks a Cardiac Sonographer to perform advanced non-invasive cardiovascular testing. You’ll execute Stress Echo and 2-D Echo with Doppler, contribute to clinical assessments and support training of trainees.

The candidate will work under supervision for transesophageal procedures, ensure equipment readiness, and participate in quality improvement while communicating findings to physicians.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in cardiovascular or applied sciences; familiarity with anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system.
• Six months Echocardiography or related experience preferred.
• Registered or registry-eligible RDCS or RCS required within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostics including Stress Echo, Dobutamine, 2-D Echo with Doppler and Color Flow.
• Assist with Transesophageal Echocardiograms under physician supervision.
• Analyze results, determine need for further tests and synthesize diagnostic impressions.
• Operate and maintain testing equipment and participate in quality improvement.
