Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to assist in diagnosing heart disease through transthoracic echocardiography. You will recognize normal and abnormal cardiovascular findings in varied settings and contribute to patient care alongside a multidisciplinary team.
The role requires completion of an accredited Cardiac Sonography Program, ARDMS/CCI registry or eligibility, and current BLS.

Pay Range: $32.00 - $52.08 per hour

This role will assist in the diagnosis of heart disease according to established standards. This role will work to recognize normal and abnormal characteristics of cardiovascular abnormalities in a variety of settings. Competent and proficient in the performance of Transthoracic Echocardiography. As a Cardiac Sonographer understands and integrates into the delivery of patient care in regards to their growth and development process. The position actively supports the Hospital’s and Department’s Continuous Quality Improvement and customer service goals, individually and as an effective team member.
