Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to assist with Veteran's Clinics, performing cardiac diagnostic imaging and a broad range of Echo procedures primarily in an ER setting. You will relay findings to radiologists and ensure top-notch patient care while supporting hospitals and staff.

The role requires proficiency with imaging equipment and strong communication, plus the ability to work independently and manage data in PACS/EMR systems in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience performing cardiac diagnostic procedures.
• Current ARDMS RDCS certification.
• Professionalism and effective interpersonal skills in diverse populations.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Pass health requirements, including drug screen and background check.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Physical ability to lift 50–100 lbs and move equipment.
• Endurance for standing, walking and back-to-back procedures.

• Assist with Veteran's Clinics as a Cardiac Sonographer
• Demonstrate proficiency in medical diagnostic imaging equipment
• Perform a wide range of Echo imaging procedures, primarily in an ER environment
• Communicate pertinent clinical information and findings to the radiologist
• Provide excellent patient care while maintaining rapport and excellent service to client hospitals and staff
• Use PACS systems and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to obtain or enter appropriate care data

Requirements

• Minimum one (1) year of experience performing cardiac diagnostic procedures and related responsibilities
• Current ARDMS - RDCS certification
• Demonstrate professionalism and effective interpersonal skills in a diverse population
• Ability to be self-directed and organized to work independently with minimal direct supervision
• Must be able to pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screening and background check
• Must have a current BLS/CPR
• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs., including patients, portable equipment, and positioning tools
• Physical agility to bend, twist, and reposition as needed
• Endurance for prolonged standing, walking, and multiple back-to-back procedures
