Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a part-time casual Cardiac Sonographer to join the Echocardiology Department. Hours run 7am–5pm, Monday–Friday.

You will perform ultrasound imaging, including echocardiograms and vascular studies, while maintaining accurate documentation and coordinating with patients, families, and staff. • BLS — Basic Life Support — American Heart Association.
• Two-year allied healthcare program (e.g., sonography, radiology, respiratory therapy, occupational therapy, or RN) and RDCS/RCS registry eligibility, with registry obtained within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound imaging (echocardiograms, vascular studies).
• Prepare required reports and maintain files.
• Maintain equipment and provide required statistics.
• Handle telephone scheduling and information requests.
• Review echocardiogram results with physicians and participate in QA.
