Job summary

Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL, seeks an Echo/Cardiac Sonography Technologist to deliver cardiology services such as Echo, EKG, TEE and stress testing with compassion and timeliness.

You will teach patients and families and work closely with the care team to meet patient needs while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required and ACLS within 8 months of hire.
• Accreditation in sonography and clinical competency in echocardiography, TEE and stress echo.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cardiology services including Echo, EKG, TEE and stress testing.
• Participate in patient/family teaching and education.
• Collaborate with the care team to meet patient needs.

Position Summary

Responsible for delivery of appropriate cardiology services in a timely and courteous manner, i.e. Echo, EKG, TEE, Stress testing. Participates in patient/family teaching and works cooperatively with other team members to meet patients needs.
