Job summary

Methodist Celina Medical Center is seeking a Cardiac Services Technologists Manager to supervise the Cath Lab and staff, coordinating daily workflows and on-call coverage. The role includes ensuring efficient room turnover, coordinating patient transfers, and maintaining open communication with physicians about procedure timing.

Ideal candidates hold RCIS licensure with accredited radiology program completion, plus ACLS and BLS certifications, and will participate in orientation and ongoing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and radiology program graduation required.
• RCIS licensure with active status is required or current credentialing in process.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required or active at hire.

Responsibilities

• 24/7 accountability for Cardiology Services and Interventional Radiology.
• Coordinate daily schedules and on-call coverage for Cath Lab staff.
• Improve room turnover and patient transfers to Cath Lab from ER or other facilities.
• Communicate with physicians about procedure start times and delays.
• Assist with staff orientation, evaluations, and ongoing competencies.

The Cardiac Services Technologists Manager provides daily supervisory responsibilities for the Cath Lab and personnel assigned to the Cath Labs.

Primary responsibilities include scheduling of personnel (daily and on-call schedules), assure the coordination of daily work flow, implement processes to improve and facilitate efficient room turnover, facilitate patient transfers to the Cath Lab from the ER or other facilities, coordinate the assignment of inpatient beds for patients seen in the Cath and assures open and timely communication with physicians concerning procedure start times, anticipated delays, etc. Assists in the orientation and performance evaluation processes for employees in the Cath Lab. Assist with ongoing staff education and annual competencies.

Your Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree Preferred
• Completion and graduation from an accredited Radiology program
• Advanced Cardio Life Support
• Basic Life Support
• Licensed as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) and graduate from an accredited program
