Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a hands-on leader to assist the manager in overseeing outpatient cardiac imaging site operations, resources and staff. The role focuses on efficient processes, patient flow and customer service while developing safety and operations policies with diverse stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include staffing coordination, policy development, and ensuring daily testing protocols and equipment maintenance compliance across imaging sites.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in healthcare administration or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Cardiology or relevant area.
• BLS certification.
• ARDMS and/or CCI certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and evaluates the daily and long-term operations of the outpatient cardiac imaging sites.
• Establishes productivity levels that reflect volume, safety, quality and efficiency.
• Ensures patient satisfaction and efficiency of operation.
• Assists in enforcing mandated policies and requirements and prepares statistical data for accrediting agencies.
• Coordinates staffing patterns to meet the needs of the Imaging Sites.
• Assures proper planning and adequate staffing schedules for all procedures.
• Performs comprehensive cardiac examinations and ensures appropriate testing performed.
• Develops diagnostic scheduling policy and policy for assessment and daily evaluation of equipment.
